Reading the review …
Checking against the platform’s policiesFake reviews, insults, comments from people who were never there: posts like these break the platforms’ rules. With the right reason and a clear justification, they can be removed.
One unfair comment drags down your average. Star Rescuer reports it with the right reason – so your stars can come back.
Reviews are far more than opinions. They decide whether people find you on Google, whether they click on you – and whether AI assistants recommend you.
Google says so itself: the number of reviews and their ratings feed into local ranking. More good reviews help you rank higher in Maps and local search – exactly where people search “near me”.
In the results, your stars sit right next to your name. Show up with 4.1 instead of 4.7 and people scroll past you faster. A single unfair 1-star review can cost you visitors every day – quietly, without you noticing.
More and more people ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity: “Where can I eat well in Manchester?” These assistants rely on what’s publicly said about you – above all, reviews. Whatever sounds repeatedly negative there is less likely to make it into the answer.

You get up early and look after your team, your guests, patients or customers – every single day. Then someone who has never been to your business types three angry sentences online. And there they are, right at the top. Everyone sees them.
Every owner knows the feeling: anger, helplessness, and the question of what you can actually do. The good news: platforms like Google have clear rules. Reviews that break those rules get removed – if you report them correctly.
That’s exactly where Star Rescuer helps. We read the review, check it against the policies and tell you honestly whether a report makes sense. If it does, you get the right reason and a justification the platform understands. If not, you get a reply that lets you come across with composure. Because in the end, one person reads it above all: your next customer.
The policies of Google & co. are clearer than many people think. Each of these cases has a matching report reason.
Never there – reviews anyway. The review is based on hearsay or describes a visit that never happened.
“Never been myself, but you hear things …”
Competitors or ex-employees with an agenda. Anyone who wants to harm you or stands to benefit shouldn’t be reviewing you. Conflicts of interest are a clear reason to report.
“Go to the shop next door instead!”
Insults, abuses, attacks people. Demeaning remarks and personal attacks violate the content policies.
“The owner is a fraud.”
Posts names and private details online. Staff names in a negative context, phone numbers or private details don’t belong in a review.
“Mrs M. from the kitchen, lives in …”
Wrong business, wrong topic. Mix-ups, or criticism of something that didn’t even happen at your place.
“Parking charges in this city are a disgrace!”
Copies, repeats, comes in packs. Lots of similar reviews in a short time, copied texts or coordinated attacks on your business.
“👎👎👎 Never again 👎👎👎”
No lawyer, no paperwork, no hours spent finding the right words.
Two taps. The check is free and takes 30 seconds.
You see straight away whether a violation is likely – and which one.
For €9.99 you get the report and reply ready to copy. If the review stays online, you get your money back.
Three sliders, one answer: where would you stand without the unfair reviews?
The platform decides whether a review is deleted. That’s why we carry the risk: if the review is still online after 30 days, you get your money back.
An unfair review rarely comes alone. With AutoProtect, Star Rescuer is permanently on your side: check, report and calmly reply to every new review – as often as you like, for €4.99 a month.
The check is always free. You only decide once you want the finished report.
For the one review that’s bothering you right now.
Your ongoing protection against every new unfair review.
Only the person who wrote a review can simply delete it. As a business owner, however, you can report a review to Google. If it violates the policies for user-contributed content, Google removes it. What matters is choosing the right report reason and explaining clearly why the review isn’t allowed.
Typical cases are reviews from people who were never your customers, reviews from competitors or former employees, insults and hate, the publication of personal information, posts unrelated to your business, and spam or coordinated review campaigns. Fake Google reviews like these can be reported. Genuine, fair criticism, on the other hand, is allowed – even if it hurts.
Open your Google Business Profile, go to Reviews and tap the three dots or “Report” next to the review in question. Choose the reason that best describes the violation. You can then follow its progress in the Reviews Management Tool. Many reports are processed within a few days; in some cases it takes longer.
Simply clicking “inappropriate” often gets a report rejected. Star Rescuer checks the review text against the policies, picks the most accurate reason and writes a factual justification – no threats, no exaggeration. That improves the chances of the platform recognising the violation.
Even while a report is being reviewed, a public reply is worth it. New customers read not only the review but also how you handle it. A calm, friendly reply comes across as confident and takes much of the sting out of an unfair review. That’s why every Star Rescuer package includes a ready-made reply in English and German.
Other platforms have their own policies and reporting routes too. Star Rescuer takes the platform you specify into account and adapts the report reason and instructions accordingly.
The platform decides. Star Rescuer provides the right reason and a clear justification. If the review is still online after 30 days, we refund the purchase price – minus Stripe’s transaction fees and a €1.00 handling fee. An email with your access link is all it takes.
Your ongoing protection for €4.99 a month: have every new review checked instantly and get the report and reply without a single purchase – as often as you like. Everything runs through your personal protection cockpit. Cancel monthly, right in the cockpit.
Yes. Use “Add another review” to add up to ten reviews. You pay €9.99 per review and get a separate package for each. If new reviews come in regularly, AutoProtect is the better deal.
The platform usually decides within a few days, sometimes it takes longer. On Google you can see the status in the Reviews Management Tool. If the review is still online after 30 days, our money-back guarantee applies.
Yes – as a consumer, generally 14 days. Because Star Rescuer starts immediately at your express request, the right expires as soon as your package has been fully provided. Details in our withdrawal information.
The link lets us identify the review and later check, for the guarantee, whether it’s still online. We need the text for the check itself.
Then Star Rescuer tells you so honestly in the free check. Genuine criticism can’t be reported away – but a good reply shows new customers how professional you are. That’s included in the package.
In your Google Business Profile, under “Reviews”, tap the three dots or “Report” next to the review and choose the reason. Your package tells you exactly which reason to pick and what to write.
The link and text are only used for your check and your package, and are deleted automatically after 30 days at the latest.
